Alicia and Ryan tied the knot in spring 2018 with a gorgeous boho theme. They kept the colours neutral with subtle tones of soft blush and gold. Bride Alicia wore a beautiful Grace Loves Laces dress teamed with a rustic flower crown. The florals were absolutely stunning but we expected no less with one of our favourite florists, Olive and Ochre, as the bride!

Tell us all about your wedding theme...

We went for natural, earthy tones with a hint of gold. We wanted a boho vibe with a twist!

Tell us all about the dress...

My dress is from Grace Loves Lace. I went to their London store and tried on a few dresses. I knew I wanted it to be boho and have sleeves, those were my only requirements really but found my dream dress finally, Camille!

What was your favourite wedding purchase? Florals! Flowers always make such a difference and we loved them!

Best wedding splurge: Dress probably!

Favourite wedding supplier: The Wild Bride our videographers as we are now good friends with Jon and Emilie. We love them!

Where there any surprises on the day?

Our best friends dad took our wedding ceremony and he lost where he was and we were married within 5 minutes instead of say 25-30! It was so funny and we love that it happened like that!

Advice for future brides…

Don’t stress! It’s not worth it and it won’t help! Be organised but relaxed!

How did you choose your venue?

It was close to where I used to live in Oxfordshire and such a great modern barn type venue. Good blank canvas where we pretty much had free reign to do whatever we wanted!

Favourite wedding planning moment: buying my dress!

Worst wedding planning moment: Table plans! Such a hard one to work out!

Is there anything you wish you'd done differently?

Wish we had a bit more colour but at the same time, I know our wedding will age well due to the neutral colour palette.

Tell us about your wedding favours...

It was Easter weekend so everyone received mini eggs!

What was the most emotional moment of the day?

The speeches for sure! Big lumps in our throats when Ryan’s brothers gave their speeches!

What food did you have at your wedding?

We had Balinese chicken as part of our food as we were going to Bali for our honeymoon and we love spicy food!

Tell us about the cake...

Our mums are both amazing at baking and teamed up to make our wedding cake! We had three tiers, chocolate, vanilla and chocolate and banana!

What was your favourite part of the day?

Our favourite part of the day was probably seeing everyone on the dance floor!

Funniest moment of the day: Seeing everyone on the dance floor. We had a Scottish ceilidh as well and it was such a laugh to see everyone giving it a good go!

Where did you spend your honeymoon?

We went to Bali! It was so beautiful and relaxing!
