After 3 wedding dates and one postponement, the now Mr and Mrs Reynolds finally tied the knot at Glenmore House back in October. It was an intimate affair with just 14 in total, and made for a very special day for everyone involved. Due to the restrictions, Lizzie's bride tribe were not able to attend however they had a lovely photoshoot together before the wedding! Lizzie tells us all about their special day, and gives us a little reminder not to stress about the small stuff, the most important thing is that you get to be married to your love!

Tell us all about your wedding colour scheme...

When I first started wedding planning, I didn’t have a colour scheme in mind, I knew I wanted to match the bridesmaid's dresses so it was my deciding on them that made the choice for us Navy & Pink.

What was your favourite part of the day?

Seeing Neils face as I walked down the aisle towards him, after all our changed plans it was the perfect moment.

What was the most emotional moment of the day?

During the vows, it just hit me and I started to bulb, it was very funny when I finished the registrar made everyone give us a clap as I cried the whole way through!

Do you have advice for future brides…

Enjoy it all, don’t dwell on everything too much at the end of the day its saying I do to the one you love that matters.

Song you walked down the aisle to: Can’t Help Falling in Love – Hayley Reinhart version

Ceremony Songs: I will alays love you – dolly parton

Recessional Song:   You Gotta A Friend in Me Toy Story

First Dance: I will always love you dolly parton

Did you make any Wedding DIYs?

Yes lots, I made a wedding ladder which was to be our seating plan but when our wedding became smaller, I made it into a memory ladder with a vintage suitcase at the bottom with past wedding photos from grandparents and parents. I made the trees for my center pieces with little lights and photos, Neils dad made out post box, Neils best man drew our beautiful finger print picture

Did you have have anything unusual at your wedding?

I guess you can call masks unusual – my friend made them with our initials in the corner in our wedding colours

What was your favourite wedding purchase?

My dress without a doubt, I just loved it so much.

Tell us all about the dress and dress shopping…

The dress was from Wed2B it was a 50’s Vintage style which I've always wanted. I have to admit I found dress shopping very hard, being plus size I felt very uncomfortable most places and just hated myself in the long style. When. Finally found what I wanted I was over joyed.

Tell us all about the cake...

Our wedding cake was made by a friend, we decided to go with a theatre theme as it’s a real passion for us both. Only having 14 of us meant we didn’t need a huge cake in the end. Everyone loved how it was very ‘us’

Did you have a favourite wedding supplier?

Fringe Photography – just an incredible lady so down to earth and great with children. We love our photos so much.

Is there anything you wish you'd done differently?

Well to have all our original guests but we will party with them when we can.

Any surprises on the day?

I surprised Neil with Les Mis in Concert tickets and a Poem with help from Veil & Verse and we also had a surprise song from my theatre group emailed to us

Funniest wedding photograph:

The fingers up to Corona photo

Favourite wedding planning moment:

I decided to have a pre wedding photo shoot with my bridesmaids as they couldn’t attend due to restrictions so happy I did this with them.

Worst wedding planning moment:

COVID – having to plan 3 weddings and postpone the first time round was heartbreaking

Tell us about your Honeymoon...

Tell us about your wedding favours:
