Autumn Vibes
This time of year is so beautiful and we wanted to really bring the rich change in colours and that cosy Autumn feeling to the shoot.
Florals
Hyde Park Flower Club By Dotties who are lovely Eco conscious florists really embraced this time of year, using locally grown flowers only. This really brought the outdoors in gave a British Autumn feel to shoot. Everything they made was completely foam free! Not to mention the incredible flower crown!! Everyone was taken aback by how amazing it was and if anyone can pull off a flower crown it’s Saffron.
Models
The models Saffron and Aaron – A real couple, were so beautiful together; this was their first shoot and what an incredible job they did. Saffron is a makeup artist and created a soft natural look for the shoot with that subtle hint of autumn colour. Nala & Knot really understood the vision for the shoot when it came to our model's hair, giving her effortless waves that looked beautiful with the flower crown – Laura really brought energy and warmth to the shoot and she was a dream to work with.
Dress
We Love Shikoba bride, their sisters of bohemia collection is just incredible. Wildly Bohemian and perfect for any indoor/outdoor wedding and any time of the year. Taken from their website: ‘Designed for the contemporary, fashion savvy, confident, unafraid, free-spirited bride. Made from beautiful lace, silks and delicate detailing creating unbelievably entrancing designs and accessories’.
Stationery
The stationery which was made with wonderful copper tones and burnt orange by the extremely talented t-ink stationery – Helen. Helen's stationery was teamed perfectly with our Autumn inspired lollipops made by Sugar Pop Lollipops!
Food
Ponden Mill also have in house catering ‘The Outside Kitchen’ – they created an indulgent grazing table inspired by the colours of autumn for our bride and groom to tuck into. Not to mention the cake made by Where The Ribbon Ends! It was so stunning, the figs and pomegranate used as décor just scream Autumn (it tasted as good as it looked too! Hehe)
Sustainability
Almost every aspect of the shoot included something that had been up cycled and restored, hopefully encouraging couples to get creative and really think about how they can use pre-loved items to create something meaningful and intimate on their special day (with a little help from a few talented suppliers of course!)
Details
Everyone fell IN LOVE with the ORLA, the dress by Shikoba and the stunning flower crown made by Hyde Park Flower Club By Dotties both are real stand out pieces within the shoot and I’m still swooning over the Restored Gypsy Caravan that Ponden Mill offer as outdoor accommodation - it’s so unique and it is the perfect place for newly-weds to escape!
Suppliers
We all really loved creating this shoot – Mark captured everything so beautifully and I can't recommend him enough – everything came together effortlessly and I never realised how many people thrive during this time of the year and how many of us truly love autumn. I feel extremely lucky to work with such talented suppliers. Keep a look out for some more creative inspiration! We’re a creative bunch us suppliers and some beautiful things have been created this year albeit at a really difficult time.
